About the role
- Outside Sales Representative specializing in Richelieu’s Furniture division (upholstery and case goods)
- Manage day-to-day sales activities and customer relationships in assigned territory
- Schedule and hold virtual and face-to-face meetings with new and existing customers
- Grow territory through new customer acquisition and development of existing relationships
- Identify and analyze past buying patterns and strategize to become a stronger supplier
- Provide a state-of-the-art customer service experience as a one-stop shop
- Continuously stay up to date with Richelieu product offerings, market conditions, and competitive analysis
- Maintain CRM data and reporting
- Sales territory is Southern Virginia; candidate must live in territory and travel by car as required
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience is ideal
- Experience selling to furniture manufacturers or equipment/parts for furniture is a strong plus
- Candidate must live in sales territory (Southern Virginia)
- Reliable, independent transportation required (regular automobile travel)
- Passionate, proactive, coachable, strong work ethic
- Ability to schedule and manage your own time and deliver on result-producing activities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Developed analytical, planning, organizing, and monitoring skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM; responsible for system information and reporting
