Product Analyst

• Support the strategic delivery of the overall Product Roadmap to meet the timing and milestones from the Product Development and Product Implementation deliverables while exhibiting flexibility as projects are re-prioritized or timelines are shifted.
• Partner with product development, pricing and rate setting teams to provide any support or expertise during early ideation stages of product development.
• Serve as a product subject matter expert for cross-functional partners on product implementation efforts as needed to successfully deliver the product roadmap; providing product expertise and ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Create test tools and product mechanic test strategies that ensure accurate and timely delivery of the product roadmap.
• Support implementation efforts with an agile framework within the product build team by supporting continuous team optimization, identifying and resolving blockers, managing priorities, work pipeline and structure.
• Lead the product implementation efforts of new life and annuity products, enhancements to existing products, and system remediation updates related to life insurance and annuity products.
• Build cross functional stakeholder engagement strategies, working with key stakeholders to identify priorities and collaborate on solutions for new products. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements related to improving efficiency and quality while enhancing speed-to-market.
• Support the management, creation, and integration of product requirements into administration, proposal systems, and other upstream/downstream systems.
• Provide support to business-as-usual items, such as completing policy holder service requests, data analysis requests, breaking down current system product functionality, competitive intelligence requests, input and review on agent/consumer marketing materials, and life reinsurance requests in a timely and efficient manner.

• Partner with the VP, Hedging Strategy in defining and executing the risk strategy for the derivatives portfolio, aligned with company objectives. This includes contributing to both general account hedging strategies and hedging the liability options embedded in our products.
• Execute derivatives trading across a wide array of instruments, including options, interest rate swaps, bond forwards, cross currency swaps, and credit default swaps, with direct responsibility for dealer relationships, trade execution, and best execution practices.

Director, Hedging

• The Sr. Investment Tax Analyst will have primary responsibilities in investment taxation.
• This position will be responsible for preparing all facets of income tax accounting and income tax compliance for F&amp;G’s Investment portfolio, including bonds, fixed maturities, and preferred stocks.
• Perform, and/or review monthly tax investment data review procedures to help ensure reasonable and accurate tax results for assets tracked within Clearwater.
• Prepare income tax adjustment calculations and workpapers, including reconciliations and period-over-period analytics, for inclusion in the quarterly current income tax provisions.
• Prepare workpapers and reconciliations to support the tax basis and deferred tax assets reported on the tax basis balance sheet for both life and non-life entities under ASC-740 and SSAP101.
• Prepare income tax adjustment calculations and workpapers in support of the company’s life and non-life entity Federal income tax returns.
• Actively participate in new investment process meetings with the tax planning team.
• Collaborate with other members of the investment tax team to develop forecasting &amp; projection procedures for in-scope invested assets.
• Assist in maintaining, testing, and updating of custom tax fields, tag aggregates, and tax reports within Clearwater.
• Prepare the quarterly tax impairment analysis, which includes analyzing and documenting a security’s eligibility for a partially worthless bad debt deduction.
• Provide support for ongoing modernization initiatives within the investment tax function and tax department in general, including automation efforts around the monthly tax data review processes, tax basis ledger, and investment deferred tax rollforwards.
