About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and direct day-to-day reinsurance administration activities and operational processes
  • Manage the preparation and administration of reinsurance settlements and support related disbursement activities
  • Serve as a key operational contact for reinsurance administration matters
  • Support accurate and timely administration of complex reinsurance transactions and treaty activities
  • Partner with Product Development, Special Projects, and other business areas to support implementation and operationalization of new reinsurance agreements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and recommend administration solutions for complex reinsurance arrangements
  • Ensure operational processes align with internal policies and governance requirements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with reinsurance partners and internal business stakeholders
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of subject matter experts and/or individual contributors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ year of relevant experience in reinsurance administration
  • 2+ years of leadership or people management experience
  • Deep knowledge of reinsurance administration processes and practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Experience leading and developing remote teams and subject matter experts
  • Proficiency with applicable systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
  • TAI system experience
