Manager, Reinsurance Administration
F&GManager overseeing reinsurance administration operations at Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company. Leading teams and supporting reinsurance treaties while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and direct day-to-day reinsurance administration activities and operational processes
- Manage the preparation and administration of reinsurance settlements and support related disbursement activities
- Serve as a key operational contact for reinsurance administration matters
- Support accurate and timely administration of complex reinsurance transactions and treaty activities
- Partner with Product Development, Special Projects, and other business areas to support implementation and operationalization of new reinsurance agreements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and recommend administration solutions for complex reinsurance arrangements
- Ensure operational processes align with internal policies and governance requirements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with reinsurance partners and internal business stakeholders
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of subject matter experts and/or individual contributors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ year of relevant experience in reinsurance administration
- 2+ years of leadership or people management experience
- Deep knowledge of reinsurance administration processes and practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Experience leading and developing remote teams and subject matter experts
- Proficiency with applicable systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- TAI system experience
