Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements in the P&C insurance domain (claims, underwriting, policy, actuarial reporting).
Perform data analysis, data profiling, and data cleaning to ensure high-quality insights.
Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD).
Leverage Business Intelligence tools to develop and interpret reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Drive process improvements and deliver actionable insights within the P&C insurance framework.
Support migration efforts from Cognos/Tableau/SPSS to Power BI by gathering requirements and rationalizing reports.
Requirements
8+ years of total experience, with 4–5+ years specifically in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, including expertise in claims, underwriting, policy, and actuarial reporting.
Strong Business Analyst background with proven skills in data analysis and report interpretation.
Extensive experience in data profiling and data cleaning.
Proficiency in creating BRD and FRD documentation.
Excellent communication skills with a track record of effective stakeholder management.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Business Intelligence skills (e.g., experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik).
Knowledge of report rationalization, requirement gathering from business, documentation, data cleaning and analysis, cross team collaboration and experience with cataloging.
Experience supporting migration from Cognos, Tableau and SPSS to Power BI (BA support for migration).
Preferred: Experience with insurance-specific data tools or platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek).
Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
