About the role
- Design, implement, and support SAP Ariba integrations with various ERP and third-party systems leveraging Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Ariba integrations using CIG
- Analyze business and system requirements to design scalable and secure integration solutions
- Develop integration mappings and workflows, ensuring best practices are followed
- Collaborate with ERP, middleware, and functional teams to deliver seamless end-to-end process integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, providing long-term solutions
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to junior consultants and business stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP Ariba, CIG, and related integration technologies
- Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and lead defect resolution for integration-related issues
- Prepare detailed technical documentation for integration design, configuration, and support processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Ariba integrations, with at least 2–3 years hands-on with Ariba CIG
- Strong knowledge of Ariba P2P, Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Network integration scenarios
- Proficiency in integration technologies such as: SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI); SAP PI/PO; EDI (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, cXML, IDoc); APIs (REST, SOAP) and related security/authentication (OAuth, SAML, etc.)
- Solid understanding of ERP systems (SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA)
- Hands-on experience with middleware tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar) is a strong plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot integration failures and performance issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- SAP Ariba Certification(s) (preferred)
- Exposure to non-SAP ERP integrations (e.g., Oracle, Workday, MS Dynamics) (preferred)
- Experience in cloud-to-cloud and hybrid integration landscapes (preferred)
- Knowledge of integration monitoring and automation tools (preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
