Develop database architectures to ensure scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
Design and document database applications, interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, and data partitions.
Troubleshoot high-complexity issues and debug applications across environments.
Operate as part of a team, communicate with business stakeholders, and mentor junior team members.
Organize people and resources to deliver large business or technology projects and take ownership of quality and difficult designs.
Contribute to and communicate enterprise, technical, project, and operational strategies.
Build internal partnerships with peers, SMEs, stakeholders, and decision-makers; manage vendor and external partnerships.
Influence decisions across multiple projects and guide discussions on critical areas of impact.
Requirements
Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in the field of data science/engineering.
2 years of experience in software development design and development, and relevant domain applications.
1 year of experience with Spark on Snowflake or Databricks.
2 years of experience with Python and SQL development.
2 years of experience in ETL data pipelines.
2 years of experience in designing and implementing data modeling solutions using relational, dimensional, or NoSQL databases.
2 years of experience in Database architecture testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
2 years of experience utilizing Big Data file formats (Parquet, Avro, or Delta Lake).
1 year of experience utilizing cloud Infrastructure services (AWS, SQS, S3, and GitLab).
1 year of experience utilizing agile development tools (JIRA or Confluence repository).
Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
