Financial Planning and Analysis

• Provides financial support to the operations organization; coordinates and supports the Monthly Financial Reporting.
• Responsible for producing monthly financial reports, annual budgets and monthly year-end forecasts for the operation groups.
• Create or improve financial performance reporting including detailed analysis budget versus actual and forecast versus actual spending for Expense and Capital Projects.
• Review, analyze and assess project financials, identify anomalies and discrepancies, and provide findings to management.
• Communicates results and issues with financial strategies, including recommendations for course corrections to management.
• Prepares reports and presentations for all levels of management, including the Senior Leadership Team, and prepares financial projections for executive management.
• Provides information to management to ensure annual budgets and five-year forecasts are on target and provides variance explanations on actuals versus budget monthly.
• Works with all levels of management to provide financial analysis and problem-solve recommendations.
• Monitors capital projects for compliance with threshold spending and supports development of rate case timelines, strategies and proceedings.
• On-call Emergency Response assignment as necessary (permanent role).
