About the role
- Coordinate and lead assigned project activities.
- Implement projects considering scope, schedule, productivity, budget, contract, and change orders.
- Manage subcontracting and material procurement.
- Staff and oversee field and/or remote activities.
- Maintain QA/QC, record keeping, photo records, reporting, data analysis (if applicable), and file maintenance.
- Participate in and encourage SAFE observations.
- Oversee health and safety, including safety equipment calibration logs/records.
- Act as regulatory agency and client liaison.
- Draft and submit contracts to clients and follow up on job execution.
- Complete project/task and billing terms setup with accounting.
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders and service orders.
- Prepare and maintain documentation: proposals, contracts, correspondence, change orders, and other requested documentation.
- Coordinate site visits and conferences.
- Schedule staff for projects, including temporary and inter-office personnel.
- Maintain customer relations and answer client questions in a timely manner.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or 2-4 years providing Project support or related services.
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Strong planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and results-orientation.
- Ability to understand and solve the customer’s needs through appropriate solutions.
- Professional presence to meet with clients in person and manage deals over the phone and email.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and foster a team spirit with all levels of personnel.
- Understanding and knowledge of project management.
- Ability to resolve issues utilizing sound judgment and reasoning skills.
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage a variety of responsibilities with changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
