💰 £36,000 - £38,000 per year
About the role
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the two-bed assessment home
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of care professionals
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care using PACE principles
- Contribute to assessment planning and 12-week progress reviews for children placed at the home
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and Esland policies
- Build strong relationships with children, families, professionals and external agencies
- Promote a safe, nurturing and empowering environment for young people
- Oversee access to education and outdoor adventure programmes to support emotional healing and personal growth
- Report to the Home Manager and help shape operational delivery
Requirements
- Experience in a children’s residential care setting (essential)
- A minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (and a willingness to work towards Level 5)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- A therapeutic, person-centred approach to care
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Full right to work in the UK (essential)
- Aged 21 or over (due to industry regulations)
