About the role
- Registered Manager for a new Children's Home in Bourn opening in 2026; create a therapeutic environment for children who will live there
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic care
- Ensure high-quality residential care and coordinate recreational activities tailored to children's interests (cinema, swimming, sports, etc.)
- Promote equal opportunities and challenge discriminatory behaviour or practice
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices
- Report to the Regional Manager and manage home operations and staff to achieve positive outcomes for children
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children (within the last 5 years)
- Full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK
- Applicants must be over 21
- Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks
