About the role
- Registered Manager of a children's residential home, reporting to the Regional Manager
- Provide high levels of care and support to children to help them achieve positive outcomes
- Oversee trauma-informed therapeutic care and crisis intervention services
- Plan and facilitate recreational activities tailored to young people's interests (e.g., cinema, swimming, sports)
- Lead and manage staff, deliver induction training and support professional development
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, Safer Recruitment Practices and safeguarding requirements
- Promote equal opportunities and challenge discriminatory behaviour or practices
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children (within the last 5 years)
- Full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK
- Applicants must be over 21
- Successful employment subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks
