Registered Manager, Children's Home

• Act as Deputy Manager at Dove Cottage, a three-bedroom children’s residential home
• Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic care to young people
• Deliver the highest quality residential care and support recreational activities tailored to children's interests
• Support children to achieve positive outcomes through nurturing, supportive care
• Work long shifts and undertake sleep nights as required; rotas provided in advance
• Promote equal opportunities and challenge discriminatory behaviour; follow Safer Recruitment Practices
• Participate in paid BILD accredited induction training and routes for professional progression

Deputy Manager, Children's Residential Home

• Registered Manager responsible for leading a residential children's home for Esland Group
• Provide leadership, supervision and management of care staff, including staff development and performance management
• Ensure the safety, safeguarding and well-being of young people underpins every decision
• Deliver and oversee comprehensive, paid induction training and ongoing training within the role
• Promote equal opportunities and challenge discriminatory behaviour or practice
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safer recruitment practices (including Full Enhanced Disclosure checks)
• Report to the Regional Manager and collaborate with regional leadership
• Support career development opportunities and implement management development initiatives

• Lead and manage a children's residential home, overseeing day-to-day operations and care delivery
• Supervise and manage staff working in a care role, including training and development
• Ensure the safety, welfare and well-being of young people in the home
• Promote independence and life skills for young people and make person-centred decisions
• Build meaningful and productive working relationships with colleagues, young people, families and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, regulatory and safer recruitment practices
• Contribute to the growth and development of the service within the Residential division
• Reporting to Regional Manager

• Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the two-bed assessment home
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of care professionals
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care using PACE principles
• Contribute to assessment planning and 12-week progress reviews for children placed at the home
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and Esland policies
• Build strong relationships with children, families, professionals and external agencies
• Promote a safe, nurturing and empowering environment for young people
• Oversee access to education and outdoor adventure programmes to support emotional healing and personal growth
• Report to the Home Manager and help shape operational delivery

Deputy Manager, Children's Home

• Registered Manager of a children's residential home, reporting to the Regional Manager
• Provide high levels of care and support to children to help them achieve positive outcomes
• Oversee trauma-informed therapeutic care and crisis intervention services
• Plan and facilitate recreational activities tailored to young people's interests (e.g., cinema, swimming, sports)
• Lead and manage staff, deliver induction training and support professional development
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, Safer Recruitment Practices and safeguarding requirements
• Promote equal opportunities and challenge discriminatory behaviour or practices

• Registered Children's Home Manager for Esland's new Assessment Home (Arley Grange) in Northwich, opening early 2026
• Oversee a two-bed service providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed, therapeutic support
• Deliver security, support and stabilisation to young people in a nurturing and peaceful environment over 12 week placements
• Implement PACE principle of residential care and ensure access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities
• Promote and encourage independence and life skills while ensuring safety and well-being underpin every decision
• Integral part of recruiting staff, preparing the home and liaising with key personnel to meet regulations, statement of purpose and expectations
• Participate in and prepare for Ofsted inspections and ensure regulatory compliance
• Line reports to Regional Assessments Manager and manage care staff day-to-day operations

• Registered Manager for a new Children's Home in Bourn opening in 2026; create a therapeutic environment for children who will live there
• Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic care

• Provide nurturing, trauma-informed residential care and crisis intervention for children at Lilac Lodge
• Support the young person's educational and emotional needs and engage them in hobbies and interests
• Deliver therapeutic, person-centred care to help children achieve positive outcomes
• Supervise and deputise in children's home operations and support staff (deputy manager responsibilities)
• Work shift pattern of 2 days on, 4 days off including sleep-ins; rotas given in advance; service operates 365 days a year
• Manage sleep-ins (paid at £60) and pick up overtime at enhanced rates when available
• Collaborate with education provision to provide personalised education plans

• Work 2 days on, 4 days off (including sleep nights) with rota planned in advance
• Provide therapeutic care and support for one young person in a solo residential service
• Support daily living skills, education, social confidence, and wellbeing through activities and experiences
• Sleeps paid in addition; additional pay for overtime
• Participate in a planned rota as part of a year-round service
• Contribute to a warm, supportive team and the home's therapeutic culture

• Serve as Deputy Manager of a children’s home providing outstanding therapeutic care
• Support one young person in a solo-service residential placement with stability and tailored support
• Support everyday life skills, education, social confidence, and meaningful experiences
• Work a rota of 2 days on, 4 days off (including sleep nights); rota planned in advance
• Undertake sleep nights as part of duties with sleeps paid in addition
• Ensure care meets regulatory/Ofsted standards and contribute to compliant service delivery
• Lead and support staff; provide supervision and contribute to staffing management and development

• Provide nurturing, supportive, trauma-informed residential care to children and young people
