About the role
- Work 2 days on, 4 days off (including sleep nights) with rota planned in advance
- Provide therapeutic care and support for one young person in a solo residential service
- Support daily living skills, education, social confidence, and wellbeing through activities and experiences
- Sleeps paid in addition; additional pay for overtime
- Participate in a planned rota as part of a year-round service
- Contribute to a warm, supportive team and the home's therapeutic culture
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential care home (within the last 5 years)
- Minimum 12 months supervising/managing staff in a care setting
- Level 3 Diploma (or higher) in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, legislation, and Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence & right to work in the UK
- Must be 21+ (to meet industry regulations)
