💰 £30,000 - £34,000 per year
About the role
- Contribute to and implement Finisterre retail strategy and feedback store insights to HQ
- Cover other stores and support new store launches, training stores and retail projects as required
- Implement seasonal visual merchandising plans and run in-store marketing campaigns
- Demonstrate and drive best-in-class customer service and build loyal customer relationships
- Manage store P&L, understand and communicate targets and plans with the team
- Plan and prepare for seasonal/promotional activity and liaise with merchandising to maximise stock opportunities
- Staff the store efficiently through effective rotas reflecting trading patterns
- Manage stock with distribution and merchandising teams to maximise sales and minimise discounts/residual stock
- Optimise conversion through merchandising and presentation; maintain high housekeeping standards
- Manage store costs, maintenance needs, security, cash, stock, IT and buildings
- Manage health & safety for day-to-day store running and events
- Recruit, motivate, train and develop staff; communicate company goals and create development plans
- Deliver and monitor KPIs including sales, ATV, stock cover, conversion and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Permission to work in the UK by the start of employment (Finisterre cannot sponsor overseas workers)
- Proven experience at Store Manager level within a premium fashion brand who share Finisterre’s brand ethos
- Commercially aware with in-depth experience of working towards KPIs (annual sales & contribution targets, ATV, conversion, stock cover, store running costs v budget, customer satisfaction)
- Competent with Excel, Word and Office Outlook
- Strong leadership skills: motivate, train and develop retail staff; recruit staff reflecting brand values
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build customer relationships
- Strong communication skills, punctuality, responsiveness
- Passion for the sea and connection to the outdoors
- Good problem solving skills
- Experience managing store operations, rotas, stock management, and store security
- Ability to manage store P&L and implement commercial changes to drive sales
