About the role

  • Assigned own book of existing customer accounts; build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships with ADI
  • Drive business growth by closing sales and managing the sales cycle
  • Serve as lead point of contact for customer account management and escalate issues as needed
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
  • Ensure timely, successful delivery of products according to customer needs and objectives
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (quarterly sales results, annual forecasts)
  • Resolve complaints, improve processes, and prevent additional issues
  • Keep accurate records of inventory and account notes
  • Provide excellent customer support and keep current customers satisfied
  • Work with larger sales organizations and participate in product and leadership mentoring

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a team mentality
  • Strong work ethic and high business ethical standards
  • Sales experience in the distribution or retail/telecom industries
  • Industry knowledge: CCTV, IP, AV technologies, Security, Fire
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service, organization, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Goal oriented with a positive can-do attitude
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Successful track record in exceeding sales targets
  • Strong aptitude for sales and desire to sell/upsell
