About the role
- Support and help shape a growing PMO by contributing to process design, continuous improvement, and best practices.
- Assist in developing, documenting, and implementing PMO policies, procedures, and controls.
- Facilitate training and onboarding PMO processes.
- Collaborate across IT and other business units to align processes with new ERP systems and integration projects.
- Prepare and present regular reports on performance, metrics, and project status.
- Actively contribute to the exchange of ideas across the PMO, IT department, and business units to ensure best practices are shared and consistently applied throughout the organization.
- Promote knowledge-sharing, cross-functional teamwork, and a culture of collaboration.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively.
- Ensure adherence to IT and organizational policies, standards, and governance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of combined experience in project management and PMO roles.
- Background in financials, budgeting, and forecasting (departmental forecasting emphasis).
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across functions and levels.
- Demonstrates initiative and curiosity and is comfortable working in “blank slate” environments.
