About the role
- Act as engagement lead on customer engagements
- Communicate job expectations to team members while planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
- Enforce policies and procedures for each project
- Contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans
- Implement production, productivity, quality, and client-service standards
- Resolve problems, determine system improvements, and implement change
- Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, quoting services, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
- Update job knowledge via training, professional publications, and professional organizations
- Enhance departmental and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for new requests and exploring opportunities to add value
- Develop budgets and track budget expenses
- Mentor, staff, and supervise project team members; provide performance management feedback
- Promote process improvement and pursue professional self-development opportunities on a regular basis
Requirements
- 3-5 years of prior project management and planning experience
- Possess excellent organizational, presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to manage client expectations including in areas of scope, schedule, budget, and satisfaction
- Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience developing budgets and tracking budget expenses
- Experience mentoring team members and providing performance management feedback
- Experience staffing and supervising project teams
- Experience implementing process improvement and change management
