Assess, develop, and deliver a world-class training program for the Workforce Solutions (WS) Sales organization
Strategize, build and execute a holistic training & development solution program for all WS Sales and Sales Support roles in alignment with the WS strategy playbook
Identify sales skills to deliver against the strategy playbook and create and execute engaging and effective learning programs to close the skills gap
Consult with sales leaders to diagnose performance issues and learning needs, identify appropriate training-based solutions, and develop learning frameworks
Define and engage vendors and build strategic partnerships where necessary
Establish project plans and conduct cost/benefit analyses for recommendations made to business units
Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent implementation and adherence to core purpose, core values and future marketplace positioning
Drive the strategy to create and operationalize a world-class sales development program for sellers, customer success, and sales support teams at WS
Lead sales enablement and onboarding efforts across WS to establish a sales force training plan focused on critical sales competencies by role
Determine and implement strategy and sales methodology for blended curricula on sales methodology, product positioning, sales strategies, tools, sales plays and plans
Measure and manage required investment ensuring effective ROI and appropriate spend per metrics
Develop and curate effective performance benchmarks and regularly assess alignment and iteration based on metrics
Oversee prioritization of training objectives for sales, sales management, and sales support roles
Consult with L&OD peers and executive management to design and execute delivery of learning, ensuring new hire onboarding coincides with sales training initiatives
Stay connected to competitive landscape, trends & best practices in sales training, development and learning
Drive adoption of WS enablement tools, evaluate current tools and make recommendations
Develop and maintain peer relationships across the business & COEs to facilitate knowledge sharing and avoid duplication of effort
Collaborate with other domestic business unit to ensure alignment on core sales curriculum and best practices
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to HRLT, sales leaders, and other L&OD team members
Mentor, motivate, and develop sales leaders and sales teams to facilitate their growth and professional development
Requirements
Bachelor in Education/Training & Development
Preferred Master/Certifications Level
A combination of 7-10 years+ related sales training experience
Direct experience selling
Ability to develop a holistic view of performance problems, identify root causes, and suggest training-based solutions
Ability to participate in sales call reviews (live or recordings) with sales / product to identify training opportunities
Analytical, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Collaboration skills including the ability to integrate and act upon diverse perspectives of business unit managers, Sales Community of Practice members, HR and other colleagues, and external vendors
Ability to focus on Value education and selling with consultation / solutions / value based focus
Consulting skills including client-facing skills aimed at determining the client’s need, perceived roadblocks, business unit culture, and work environment issues
Ability to incorporate training delivery into our AI systems, and to adjust training based on insights from our AI systems
Knowledge of training and organizational development theories and practices, instructional design models, and e-learning standards (e.g. SCORM and AICC)
Project management skills, experience ability to facilitate organizing and managing multiple priorities and/or projects
Data analysis skills to measure / analyze the effectiveness (and/or adoption) of training by sales teams and ROI
Risk mitigation skills to help eliminate potential roadblocks in the design and delivery of training programs
Strong business acumen and understanding of the impact of training on overall corporate performance
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (preferred)
Familiarity with and experience using learning design software like Articulate Storyline, Camtasia etc. and WorkDay LMS (preferred)
Proven track record of building and scaling sales training programs from the ground up (preferred)
Basic knowledge of CRMs, especially Salesforce (preferred)
Experience with modern learning technologies like gamification, VR/AR, or AI-driven platforms (preferred)
Direct experience in a sales leadership role (preferred)
Experience with Richardson sales methodology (preferred)
Experience working in a global, highly matrixed organization (preferred)
