As our account manager, you need to enlarge Envalior market coverage by identifying, developing and commercializing business opportunities at either new accounts, for new applications or both.
Sales Execution: Develop and execute the account plans, derived from the segment plan and marketing plan, reaching the set targets on financial target; Develop and maintain customer relations on all required levels, reaching a full understanding of the customer organization; Lead negotiations on pricing and other commercial conditions like delivery lead time, payment terms, credit limits, complaints, etc.; Contribute to the sales forecasting as in input for the S&OP process and manage account receivables and credit limits for the customer
New business development: Develop contacts and build relationships with new customers in the newly target segments; Identify and acquire projects for business growth; Bringing in the right support resources for a successful execution of the projects and commercialize them
Others: Collect market information, market trends and emerging needs within the target segment and region to contribute to localized VP development
Requirements
Min. 5 years of broad experience in commercial function (Sales, Marketing, New business development, Technical sales, etc.) in Chemical or B2B industries
Experiences in engineering plastics is plus
Experiences at an auto OEM (Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda) or at a parts maker (Denso, Aisin, Astemo, Bosch, Conti, etc.) is plus
Highly driven and self-propelling and strong relation building capability
Excellent interpersonal and communication capability
Experience to collaborate with variety of functions in an international and matrix organization
Min. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, or Business
Fluent in English and Japanese; communication and writing capability
