About the role

  • Method: global design and engineering consultancy crafting digital experiences across industries
  • Role: lead a high-performing product strategy team, grow people, clients, and the practice
  • Report to VP, Head of Global Product Strategy and stay close to client work
  • Travel for team and client meetings required (typically up to 20%)
  • Client Leadership: own senior relationships, define outcome-based charters, manage delivery quality, risk, forecasting, and commercial hygiene
  • People Leadership & Delivery Excellence: hire, onboard, develop product strategists and leads; run 1:1s, OKRs, feedback, promotions, compensation planning; coach consultants on problem framing and executive storytelling
  • Practice & Business Growth: advance Modern Product POV, partner with Sales and Delivery Ops on scoping/estimation/staffing, represent Method in market and attract talent
  • Typical mix: 40–60% people leadership, 20–40% client leadership/billable strategy, 10–20% growth and market activity

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product strategy/management or adjacent fields with 8+ years leading teams in a consulting/services context
  • Proven Client Lead/Engagement Lead experience: executive alignment, outcome definition, commercial stewardship (SOWs, margin, forecasting)
  • Demonstrated strength in client leadership, transformation and product development with depth in at least one and range across the others
  • Operator mindset: diagnose org/process issues, shape operating models, and stand up effective governance
  • Excellent communicator and coach: turn ambiguity into clarity, and feedback into growth
  • Comfort with enterprise B2B environments and complex demanding stakeholder landscapes
  • Track record building internal communities of practice or product ops capabilities
  • Thought leadership: talks, articles, or playbooks others use
