Work as part of multi-disciplinary team to conduct Research and Development (R&D) tax credit consulting services
Leading Client interviews and discussions
Assessing applicability of tax benefits
Calculating tax savings
Preparing supporting documentation and reports
Performing technical research at federal and state levels
Developing knowledge of R&D applications by industry
Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the R&D department
Ensuring that the team is managed and performing efficiently and effectively as business goals are met
Managing the department staff and production operations of R&D
Assessing pricing, scoping, and benefit analysis requests toward generating Letter of Engagements for potential R&D clientele
Driving process improvement initiatives, templatization, and working with the technology portal team in the development of internal and client-facing workflows
Supporting the Finance, Marketing and Management team with pricing, case studies, reporting, and forecasting
Performing audit support for clients as necessary
Requirements
Must be highly organized, exceedingly detail oriented, and flexible
Must be able to manage time effectively
Must be a resourceful self-starter with ability to multitask
Must be a team player
High level of written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment
Seven plus years of experience in the Management, Tax, or Accounting industry
Must be highly proficient in Excel
Must have experience with researching and giving guidance on technical tax issues
