Project Manager

• Work as part of multi-disciplinary team to conduct Research and Development (R&D) tax credit consulting services
• Leading Client interviews and discussions
• Assessing applicability of R&D tax credit
• Calculating R&D credit amount
• Preparing supporting documentation and reports
• Performing technical research at federal and state levels
• Developing knowledge of R&D applications by industry
• The R&D Project Manager coordinates the team assignments for efficient and timely handling of client projects by managing the workflow from beginning to end
• Conduct initial interviews with Client to understand operations and R&D applications of the company and to identify Qualifying Research Activities
• Conduct in-depth interviews with Client personnel to gain high-level understanding of qualifying activities and process of experimentation utilized by technical staff
• Develop and sustain excellent client relationships to ensure timely reception of supporting data and perform regular status updates as the study progresses toward completion in accordance with project deadlines.

• Perform audit support for clients as necessary

Director of Operations, R&D Tax Credit

• Leading Client interviews and discussions
• Assessing applicability of tax benefits
• Calculating tax savings
• Preparing supporting documentation and reports
• Performing technical research at federal and state levels
• Developing knowledge of R&D applications by industry
• Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the R&D department
• Ensuring that the team is managed and performing efficiently and effectively as business goals are met
• Managing the department staff and production operations of R&D
• Assessing pricing, scoping, and benefit analysis requests toward generating Letter of Engagements for potential R&D clientele
• Driving process improvement initiatives, templatization, and working with the technology portal team in the development of internal and client-facing workflows
• Supporting the Finance, Marketing and Management team with pricing, case studies, reporting, and forecasting
• Performing audit support for clients as necessary

Director of Research and Development

• Conduct initial interviews with clients to understand operations and R&D applications
• Assess the applicability of R&D tax credits and prepare accurate credit calculations
• Conduct in-depth interviews with client personnel to gain understanding of qualifying activities
• Prepare thorough and accurate final reports documenting R&D tax credits and activities
• Develop and sustain excellent client relationships for timely data reception
• Manage R&D supporting team members and oversee project assignments
