- Base Compensation Range: $82500-$123,900.
- Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
- Additional earning potential of 160%! Performance Based Quarterly Sales Incentive Pay.

- Internal support provided to all TSRs via our Insides Sales Representatives with processing quotes, orders, etc.

- Job Purpose EnerSys is looking for a driven and results-oriented Technical Sales Representative to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for selling the trusted products and services our customers rely on.
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, relationship building, and deal closing.
- We seek a motivated go-getter with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively showcase our offerings to drive business growth.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Consistently exceed sales quotas by retaining, growing, and prospecting clients within an assigned territory.
- Leverage product knowledge and customer insights to develop unique value propositions supported by financial impact analysis and feasibility studies.
- Manage customer relationships and sales activities using Salesforce CRM.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and stay informed on market trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between customer needs and product offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with new products, services, and business processes through continuous learning and self-education.
- Prepare proposals, pricing structures, presentations, and sales forecasts while managing sales programs effectively.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in handling critical business matters.
- Identify key customer stakeholders, build strong relationships, and drive consensus for deal success.
- Strategize independently and collaboratively to overcome deal-level challenges.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 2-5 years of sales experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Able to read and comprehend manuals, procedures, and other written documents written in English.
- Driving Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record with minimal traffic violations.
- Must be 18 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
- Able and willing to travel to customer sites.
- Frequent Travel To Following Counties: San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa, Monterey, Sonoma, Napa, Santa Cruz, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Fresno areas.
- Able and willing to do overnight travel up to 50% of the time.
- Preferred Qualifications: A college degree is preferred.
- Specific industry sales experience is a plus, especially a proven track record of success selling advanced battery chemistries.
- General Job Requirements: This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements.
- Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
- Must be able and willing to do overnight travel
- Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
