About the role
- Lead end-to-end payroll process for contractors and permanent employees across UAE, FZE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi.
- Supervise and support the payroll team, assigning tasks and providing training as needed.
- Review and verify payroll data including timesheets, expenses, new hires, deductions and adjustments; identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Apply payments in HSBC Online Platform (Bank Transfer and WPS Payment).
- Coordinate with HR and validate employee contracts to ensure payments match signed contracts.
- Prepare payroll coding files for finance and provide payroll data to Audit/Finance.
- Ensure accurate payroll calculations in compliance with Labour Laws, including overtime and end-of-service benefits.
- Provide payroll data and approve inputs in ADP by deadlines.
- Manage and maintain confidentiality of payroll data.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns.
Requirements
- MBA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of payroll experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Excellent knowledge of payroll principles and local regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical skills: ability to audit payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and ensure 100% accuracy in payroll execution.
- Problem-solving: proactive in resolving payroll issues and handling employee queries effectively.
- Time management: capable of managing tight deadlines.
