Customer Success Manager

• Handle key aspects of the daily operation of demand response participation in CPUC/CAISO DR programs

Full-stack Engineer

• Develop and maintain the backend services of our EV platform, ensuring that all components work together seamlessly.
• Integrate with third-party APIs to implement external services into our platform, enhancing OEM partners and other external solutions.
• Manage ingestion and storage of multivariate data sets that can scale to millions of users/connected vehicles.

• Prepare legacy applications for transition to a microservices architecture and assist in transition.
• Invest in and unify how EnergyHub teams develop, deploy, and test microservices.
• Own and maintain the space for Ground Control's processes, technical designs, and education for other teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, internal engineering teams, and stakeholders to drive high-impact projects.
• Work within real-world constraints to develop creative solutions that maintain platform flexibility and scalability.
• Contribute to best practices for CI/CD, data modeling, and iterative development (e.g., PoCs, rapid prototyping, milestone-based execution).

Staff Software Engineer

Technical Program Manager

• Lead and truly own complex, multi-disciplinary integration projects from start to finish — working with cross-functional teams across the company as well as with external parties.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues that may impact program delivery.
• Coordinate all players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
• Establish program management processes, standards, and playbooks for integrating with third parties.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on program goals and priorities.
• Drive requirements and documentation efforts across teams, ensuring that essential information is always captured.

Engineering Manager

• Guide the team with clear direction, ensuring they have clear priorities and scope
• Provide strategic oversight, architectural direction and execution for new team initiatives, e.g. code refactoring and transition to micro-services environment

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product, to define mission, vision and roadmap

Compliance

• Lead EnergyHub’s Regulatory Affairs team
• Establish and execute the North American regulatory and legislative engagement strategies for the company
• Prioritize the highest-leverage advocacy opportunities and initiatives related to grid modernization, integrated resource planning, demand-side management, transportation electrification, energy storage, rate cases, state and federal legislation and grant programs
• Interface closely with EnergyHub’s Utility Sales and Client Success teams to deliver high levels of commercial support and intelligence on key regulatory issues affecting EnergyHub’s clients
• Participate in integrated resource planning/VPP potential study/distribution system planning cycles to promote the use of demand-side resources and virtual power plants in long-term grid planning
• Educate regulators and advocate for the role of software and DERMS in facilitating demand flexibility through innovative utility-led programs and rates
• Represent EnergyHub as a thought leader in electric vehicle program design to ensure that managed charging programs are set up to monetize the full grid value of EV assets
• Harvest best practices from battery storage demand response programs to drive the development of energy storage incentive and load management programs
• Track national and state-level regulatory trends and periodically brief senior leadership and internal stakeholders to enable product roadmap planning
• Lead cross-functional efforts to evaluate new business models or program ideas in response to federal or state-level policy initiatives
• Research and gain expertise in regulatory topics with the potential to accelerate the adoption of grid-edge resources and the programs that harness them
• Foster productive relationships with EnergyHub’s trade associations and represent EnergyHub at industry conferences
• Work with Product Marketing to create thought leadership materials such as blog posts and white papers in support of policy positions and identify and onboard outside consultants where appropriate
• Expectation of frequent work travel

Director of Regulatory Affairs

• Be the project manager for program launches and manage multi-faceted programs with device partners, clients and internal teams
• Design an efficient program structure that meets the needs of many co-ops that exist within a larger parent organization
• Create and enforce a standardized process for the repeatable, scalable organization of a complex utility program structure
• Maintain efficiency by creating playbooks and other education tools that allow for a level of service to be maintained across multiple stakeholders
• Manage internal expectations as well as those of your clients and prioritize program tasks using business judgment to balance internal objectives with client goals
• Spend time understanding clients’ objectives and guiding clients through key decisions to design programs that support these targets
• Partner with Sales to support successful renewals and expansions in your clients’ accounts
• Creatively problem solve when difficult situations arise and resolve operational challenges
• Analyze and present key results, facilitate meetings, and deliver nuanced technical and data driven messages to clients

• Identify and implement technical solutions to mitigate or correct known issues
• Debug reported issues by looking at logs, data and code (most often in Java, sometimes in Python and occasionally TypeScript)
• Contribute bug-fix PRs to the codebase
• Create, update, and maintain Python scripts for data migrations, data cleanup, or process improvements
• Work closely with Engineering, Internal Stakeholders, and Clients

Support Development Engineer

• Accelerate the software development lifecycle of EnergyHub core services by creating and standardizing common design and development patterns and practices
• Invest in and unify how EnergyHub teams develop, deploy, and test core services
• Participate in solution development and ensure the team delivers quality, well-tested code on time, in scope, with robust scalability
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product and TPMs, to define the team’s mission, vision and roadmap
• Provide strategic oversight, architectural direction and execution for new team initiatives
• Build your team’s skills through coaching, mentoring and training opportunities
• Continuously raise the bar for your team through organizational evolution, process improvement efforts and leveling your team’s technical prowess
