About the role
- Apply technical expertise in the production of products
- Select, design or recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment
- Develop manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and cost
- Recommend design changes to increase quality or reduce problems and costs
- Solve production problems and improve process capabilities
- Participate in the presentation of test results and design reviews
- Interact with other functional groups, vendors, or customers
- Participate in the administration of technical procedures
- Initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations
- Support capacity model and lean initiatives and may participate in lean Six Sigma improvement teams
- Work closely with team and other functional groups to deploy solutions that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering or Science from an Engineering School (students of any class status will be considered)
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
- Preferred: GPA of 3.0 or above
- Preferred: Prior internship experience
