About the role
- 12–18 month Sales Trainee Program with hands-on training in Emerson products and industrial applications
- Learn sales techniques, customer engagement, and inside sales collaboration to prepare for field sales
- Support regional sales and develop customer relationships during training
- Participate in trade shows and professional societies
- Perform inside sales duties and assist with project planning and use of regional sales tools
- Build communication and presentation skills
- After training: manage your own sales territory and receive company vehicle
- Build strategic partnerships with customers and apply sales strategies to grow business
- Conduct territory planning, win major projects, and deliver solutions independently and collaboratively
- Quarterly company trips to visit the four sales areas
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided)
- Preferred: Degree in Industrial Distribution or Industrial Technology
- Preferred: Strong time management, communication, and presentation skills
- Preferred: Familiarity with instrumentation (temperature, level, flow, pressure)
