About the role
- Provide production support for Material Flow areas
- Participate and/or lead high-impact automation projects related to Material Flow
- Design and optimize material flow processes to establish efficient warehouse storage, delivery to production lines, receiving raw goods, and shipping finished goods
- Interact on a regular basis with other functional groups and customers or vendors on technical and/or administrative matters
- Using data and analytics to make business decisions
- Work with operations, supply chain, planning and other engineering departments to develop site logistics and material storage plans
- Be part of a rotation providing on-call support as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 0 years of relevant experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- ABET-accredited engineering degree (preferred)
- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Degree (preferred)
- Previous manufacturing and warehousing experience (preferred)
- Previous experience with RPA technology and reporting tools (PowerApps, Power Automate and PowerBI) (preferred)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma processes (preferred)
