About the role

  • Execute sourcing initiatives to procure goods and services at best total cost of ownership and highest quality
  • Complete a 30-day extensive training with Global Sourcing team process experts
  • Oversee planning and management of end-to-end sourcing events and ensure timely execution
  • Develop sourcing approach, identify suppliers, and finalize sourcing strategy
  • Perform digital sourcing requirements and events in Oracle and other procurement systems
  • Execute RFx processes (requests for information, proposals, quotes, and bids)
  • Conduct sourcing requirements assessments and report timelines and resource adjustments to Sourcing Supervisor
  • Conduct award scenario analysis to support category management and analytics teams
  • Assist in building RFx tools and templates and initiate sourcing/negotiation improvements based on project insights

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations, or a similar field
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement operations, global sourcing, supplier management, commodity risk management, budgeting, financial reporting, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Power BI
  • Working knowledge of e-procurement tools such as Ariba, Oracle Procurement, Sourcing Applications, etc.
  • Completion of a 30-day extensive training conducted by Global Sourcing team process experts
  • Strong accountability, communication, collaboration, planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred: Advanced course/Master’s Degree and/or professional certifications in procurement, technology, leadership, strategy, and/or project management
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in the pertinent category
