About the role
- Report all purchase and sales contracts in Qatar to tax authorities, including contract copies.
- Regularly check the Dhareeba Qatar Tax portal for notices.
- Provide Withholding Tax (WHT) certificates from the Dhareeba Qatar Tax portal upon request.
- Assist in quarterly tax provision and related activities using OneSource Tax Provision.
- Help with USA tax compliance through ReturnQ.
- Assist with VAT returns in South Africa.
- Support assessment-related tax matters according to notices from tax authorities.
- Monitor monthly WHT, manage closing tax activities, and review tax locks before financial uploads.
- Supporting Kuwait Tax Audit & Assessment.
- Aid in tax reconciliation and compliance tracking.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses of tax issues to support management inquiries as requested
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Tax or Audit Firm
- Experience in Tax Audit, Tax returns of Direct and Indirect Taxes
- Familiarity with OneSource Tax Provision, Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or CPA (preferred)
- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
