About the role

Develop and execute tests for DeltaV distributed process control system (desktop, web, real-time embedded firmware)
Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams; review peers’ test plans and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives
Innovate by developing technologies and writing software tests using modern tools and frameworks
Automate integration and system level tests to build the automation pipeline and support release readiness
Debug and validate software issues on unreleased products and customer-reported issues
Help the scrum team continuously improve environment and processes
Based in Austin/Round Rock, Texas; work on products used in chemical, life sciences and energy industries

Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or a master’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
Experience testing embedded software products
Experience designing and developing test cases from a user perspective
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred: Experience working in an Agile Scrum Team
Preferred: Experience with Automation Test Frameworks and GIT
Preferred: Experience developing C, C++ and/or C# software applications
Preferred: Knowledge and experience working in the process control industry
