About the role
- Manages relationships with external training vendors to ensure quality sales training delivery
- Oversees the development and implementation of engaging training programs and materials
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess training needs and identify performance gaps
- Evaluates training effectiveness to recommend enhancements for maximizing ROI
- Leads sales training initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Builds partnerships with external vendors for innovative training solutions
- Manages logistics for vendor-led training sessions
- Designs and updates training materials to reflect product changes
- Provides coaching and support to sales, marketing, and underwriting teams
- Analyzes performance data to identify training gaps and opportunities
- Tracks and reports training outcomes including participation and effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, education, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Eight years of experience in sales, sales training, learning and development, or related experience
- Experience managing external training vendors or partners
- Experience with training software and tools (e-learning platforms, virtual training delivery)
- Familiarity with instructional design, adult learning theory, and training evaluation methodologies
- Certifications in training, instructional design, or coaching preferred
