About the role

  • Own end-to-end product strategy for a major area within the accounts payable and invoice management experience.
  • Define vision, metrics, and roadmap that connect customer outcomes (speed, accuracy, trust) with business growth goals.
  • Partner with AI/ML and design teams to embed intelligent automation, prediction, and conversational guidance into payables workflows.
  • Translate customer pain points into adaptive solutions that reduce friction and continuously improve through learning loops.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, Design, Finance, and Marketing to deliver intuitive, high-quality features from concept through launch.
  • Leverage data and behavioral insights to refine models for invoice classification, payment reconciliation, and anomaly detection.
  • Champion explainable automation — ensuring transparency in decisioning logic and maintaining trust across finance users.
  • Drive GTM readiness by aligning with Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success on launch positioning, pricing, and adoption strategies.
  • Monitor market and technology trends in AI, accounting automation, and mid-market SaaS to inform long-term product direction.
  • Communicate roadmap priorities and trade-offs clearly across stakeholders, balancing customer value with execution feasibility.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS or financial software.
  • Demonstrated success shipping data-driven or AI-enabled products in accounting, payments, or source-to-pay domains.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business rules into intelligent, scalable systems.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-impact B2B software.
  • Preferred: Experience in SMB or Mid-Market financial products and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with invoice processing, reconciliation, and supplier enablement systems.
  • Understanding of data and model lifecycle management, including feedback loops, accuracy metrics, and human-in-the-loop systems.
  • Strong product analytics foundation (SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent) and ability to connect data insights to user experience.
