About the role
- Service all Elekta products within the region
- Perform planned maintenance, emergency corrective maintenance, upgrades, installation work, courtesy calls, and telephone support
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic systems including HT and RF power generation, vacuum systems, water systems, pressurized gas systems, and mechanical assemblies
- Ensure all work complies with Elekta’s safety instructions and procedures
- Report any issues affecting product reliability or personnel safety to the Service Manager
- Participate in training and assessments both in classrooms and on-site
- Guide and assess other engineers and provide feedback to the Service Manager
- Complete and submit relevant reports and documentation post-service
- Work as part of the Order Fulfilment & Service Organization, travel as directed by the Regional Service Manager
Requirements
- Minimum technical college or university degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent
- Competence in IT technologies including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and networking
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in a Medical Device service environment (experience with linear accelerators or brachytherapy systems is an advantage)
- Proven ability to manage tasks independently
- Demonstrable commitment to Elekta and assigned responsibilities
- Valid Driving Licence
- Proficiency in English & Romanian (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel throughout Romania and occasionally outside the country
