About the role
- Develop and implement a global safety and health strategy aligned with company goals and sustainability objectives
- Develop and manage global safety programs, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident prevention
- Supervise and ensure adherence to safety and health regulations at international, national, and local levels
- Provide global oversite to investigations of safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and lead corrective actions
- Work closely with site leaders, HR, legal, and operations to integrate safety and health into business processes
- Coordinate global safety training programs
- Establish benchmarks and dashboards to monitor safety performance
- Promote psychological safety, open communication, and proactive risk management across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Over a decade of advancing experience in health and safety
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership position on a global scale
- Deep understanding of international safety regulations and standards
- International travel required
- Master’s or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Experience in the Semiconductor industry (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead cross-cultural teams and drive global initiatives (preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaborator management skills (preferred)
