Take part in virtual and in-person meetings with internal MCOE PGP staff and external Office of Problem Gambling staff and grantees.
Contribute to the development and delivery of presentations that will communicate research, findings, data and other topic areas around Problem Gambling Prevention and Services.
Requirements
Massachusetts-based undergraduate student currently enrolled in a public health or related certificate or degree program at an accredited state college or community college.
Interest in public health and problem gambling prevention.
Demonstrated experience related to community service, youth programs, public health, health equity and/or prevention methods.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to be self-directed and motivated and to work independently.
Presentation, facilitation and public speaking skills.
Efficient English writing and speaking skills.
Proficient Computer Skills in Microsoft Suite, Excel and other tools.
Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, New Chinese, or Haitian Creole.
