About the role
- Support the retail marketing team in bringing national campaigns to life at the local level through meaningful activations, community partnerships, and in-store experiences.
- Create, deliver and maintain event toolkits to empower shops to execute successful events.
- Collaborate with Retail Marketing Leads and the Advocacy and Activism Team to implement in-store activations, regional campaigns, and off-site events that align with brand values.
- Support the Retail Marketing Lead, Events & Activations in planning and optimizing shop parties throughout the year, ensuring they are tailored to enhance customer experience, drive traffic, and build lasting community connections.
- Manage event logistics, timelines, and post-event recaps to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.
- Develop localized, region-specific in-store activation plans for major brand moments across the North American market.
- Lead Tier 1 in-store events from budget management, conception to execution, offering strategic guidance to local managers and coordinating local vendors as needed.
- Act as a bridge between retail teams and the marketing department, sharing insights, feedback, and best practices to improve event outcomes.
- Streamline processes for off-site local events and equip managers with clear guidance to ensure seamless execution that adheres to brand guidelines.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to retail activations, local campaigns, and community partnerships.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in events, retail marketing or community engagement
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience with performance tracking tools and reporting.
- Passion for social impact, inclusivity, and representing diverse voices in brand storytelling.
- Previous experience in beauty, retail, or lifestyle brands.
- Familiarity with influencer and creator marketing strategies.
- Understanding of community-based marketing, particularly within Gen Z and millennial audiences.
- Experience working in project management software, such as Asana, is considered an asset.
