About the role
- Own the product development lifecycle for core platform features (web), APIs, and integrations — from discovery and planning to delivery and iteration
- Partner closely with UX/UI design to make complex workflows simple, scalable, and intuitive
- Collaborate with engineering on data workflows, backend logic, and UI behavior
- Own integration workstreams involving external APIs, SFTP automation, custom field mapping, and lambda functions
- Coordinate cross-functionally with customer success, implementation, and support to translate real-world problems into product solutions
- Monitor and resolve incidents tied to your features, understanding edge cases and fallout scenarios
- Support go-to-market execution (beta, enablement, documentation)
- Champion platform-first thinking and reuse across the product and tech stack
- Measure and improve adoption, usability, and stability of what you ship
Requirements
- 3+ years of SaaS product management experience, including 2+ years managing customer-facing web applications
- Strong capability in user-centric product design — you can simplify logic, reduce cognitive load, and ensure users don’t get stuck
- Hands-on experience building and managing RESTful APIs, external integrations, and backend automation (SFTP, lambdas)
- Experience defining workflows involving permissions, approvals, and business logic
- Strong ability to scope features — you think through edge cases, use cases, and how real users will engage
- High-quality ticket writing and story development — testable, complete, and clearly prioritized
- Proven experience working directly with developers to manage backlogs, lead refinement sessions, and ensure smooth delivery through agile practices
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, design, support) in agile environments
- Proficiency with Jira, Aha!, Figma, Confluence, and data tooling
- (Bonus) Experience in facilities, maintenance, or enterprise asset management
- (Bonus) Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, and API debugging
