About the role
- Own and drive the full P&L for the multi-billion dollar US Collectibles business
- Develop and execute category strategies that anticipate market trends and drive innovation
- Directly manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability
- Ensure the power of AI is integrated into operations and customer-facing experiences
- Build and maintain strong relationships with eBay’s Executive Leadership Team and functional partners
- Oversee category operations, analytics, reporting, and funnel performance
- Champion the needs of the platform’s largest sellers and diverse buyers
- Build relationships with key industry partners to bring new inventory and innovative experiences
Requirements
- 12-15 years experience as a general manager in an online high-growth marketplace, digital platform, or retail environment
- 7+ years experience in Management Consulting or equivalent
- Deep expertise in marketplace dynamics, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence
- A deep passion for eBay’s mission and the Collectibles industry
- Proven ability to set vision, develop strategy, and execute complex initiatives at scale
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, experience managing relationships across C-suite
- Demonstrated success leading large, geographically dispersed teams and driving cross-border business in a matrixed, multinational environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
