About the role
- Define and execute the enterprise-wide strategy for cyber defense
- Develop and manage the Cyber Defense budget
- Serve as a key advisor to the CISO and senior leadership on threat trends
- Lead the transformation of legacy cybersecurity systems
- Oversee the 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Lead the global incident response program
- Enhance detection capabilities through automation
- Manage penetration testing and red teaming activities
- Direct the threat intelligence program
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or related fields
- At least 8 years of direct leadership experience managing enterprise-wide security operations, incident response, and threat management functions
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (required)
- Additional certifications in incident response or forensics (e.g., GCIH, GCFA) strongly preferred
- Strong background in security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and best practices for incident response and threat management
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
