Monitor all E2 Optics and customer safety programs throughout field operations on site for specific construction projects to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees.
Provide coaching to employees on all safety rules and regulations and promote company Core Values to foster a family-centric culture.
Provide technical safety and health support and information to field and corporate personnel to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
Identify company safety training needs and coordinate safety training programs.
Participate in new product/process reviews, including process hazard analyses and operator training.
Audit practices and records of jobsites to ensure compliance with company programs and federal/state regulations.
Review injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follow up as necessary.
Operate equipment (scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, UTVs) if required.
Travel as required by E2 and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma required (associate degree preferred).
2-3 years’ experience within the safety field.
Experience with inspections, incident investigations, process safety, contractor safety, safety training, hazard reviews and job safety analysis.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety laws.
OSHA 510 Required.
Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaborative skills.

Strong incident investigation, root cause analysis and continuous improvement skills.
Effective oral and written skills.
Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs if required.
Able and willing to travel as required.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds, carry and climb ladders to 20 feet, and work in tight, confined spaces.
