Develop and drive advertiser and consumer-facing product features through their entire creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration
Lead and iterate the roadmap for innovative ad formats that excite advertisers while building on Duolingo’s tenets of gamification, delightful design, brand equity, and character IP
Establish the product vision and strategy for the ads business, and build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners, and the executive team
Perform qualitative and quantitative research to explore and validate feature ideas
Partner with product designers to ensure a fun and delightful user experience
Work with engineers and designers to help guide feature development
Perform experiment analysis on features and find opportunities for optimization
Execute with urgency and excellence
Requirements
Proven track record in building ad products
Strong product management expertise
Strong understanding of advertising technology and key players in the ads ecosystem
Desire to make the world a better place through technology and education
Experience generating impressive results as a product manager
Ability to utilize and apply user insights, data, and statistical analyses to inform decisions
Top-tier design sense
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, be curious, and innovative
Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Design, Psychology, or equivalent (preferred)
Experience in developing and scaling ad formats (preferred)
Experience in optimizing programmatic ad serving for a consumer-facing mobile app (preferred)
