About the role
- Work closely with the VP of Engineering to drive the Platform pillar’s operating rhythm and ensure smooth execution
- Drive the Platform pillar’s operating rhythm: OKRs, planning, metrics, and reporting
- Ensure clear communication, alignment, and decision-making across teams and stakeholders
- Organize off-sites, all-hands, and social events to strengthen leadership and team culture
- Oversee pillar-wide processes, including talent management and follow-ups
- Partner with engineers, TPMs, and leadership to align on technical initiatives
- Translate technical updates into clear, actionable communication
- Streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and surface blockers early
Requirements
- 5+ years in program management, or similar roles within an engineering org
- Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both technical and non-technical
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and partner effectively with engineers
- Self-directed, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- B.S./M.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Willing to work in or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA
- Ability to travel as needed
- (Exceptional) Experience as a program manager in a technical org
- (Exceptional) Prior exposure to platform or infrastructure teams
- (Exceptional) 10+ years of relevant program/operations management experience
- (Exceptional) Familiarity with distributed teams and global operations
- (Exceptional) Background in technical environments such as software engineering or systems
