About the role
- Support commercial decision-making by providing in-depth strategic analysis, business insights, and recommendations.
- Take operational ownership of activities linked with dubizzle (utilisation, product changes, client communication, management).
- Translate complex data sets into clear, concise reports and presentations to aid decision-making.
- Analyse and monitor processes to provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Conduct market and competitor research on industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Help conduct surveys for mapping the client universe.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance teams to provide analytical support for commercial strategies.
- Create, manage, and optimise complex Excel models (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros, data visualisation).
- Develop and maintain regular financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance against targets.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and support leadership on strategic projects to inform key business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a commercial/business analyst or a data analysis role.
- Proven experience in conducting financial analysis and modelling.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Experience with programming languages is preferred.
- Consulting or Tech background is a plus.
- Decent understanding of business and financial principles, including profitability, pricing, and margin analysis.
- Ability to synthesise data into actionable insights with a clear understanding of business impact.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced knowledge including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros, and data visualisation).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for data and metrics.
