About the role

  • Manage and retain existing accounts in an assigned territory; make outbound sales calls to close business and/or secure appointments for regional sales executives to visit in person
  • Set qualified appointments for outside sales executives; qualify accounts prior to appointments
  • Use CRM software to record activity; communicate with regional account executives and managers
  • Become an expert on Dominion Diagnostics product offering; stay informed on competitor offerings and payer landscape
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and uphold the company’s reputation
  • Must be U.S.-based; hours align with Mountain or Pacific Standard Time
  • Travel, lift up to 25 pounds, and travel by automobile/airplane as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred
  • 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience
  • Laboratory experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key physicians and office staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
