Client-facing Content Strategist (Account Strategist, Content & SEO internally) responsible for day-to-day client deliverables and custom client strategies
Create, manage, and revise holistic marketing and content strategies using project phase, client goals, campaigns, and historical performance
Work closely with Associate Director for strategy reviews and roadblocks
Craft creative briefs and content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights
Set measurable goals for clients using analytics and reporting tools and present goals alongside Associate Director
Ensure strategy execution through project management: delegate tasks, use Asana, partner with Project Managers, and coordinate with writers and designers
Proactively communicate timelines, progress, roadblocks, and opportunities to clients and internal leadership via Slack, bi-weekly meetings, and regular deliverables
Regular reporting cadence: bi-weekly meetings, monthly reports, quarterly reports, and bi-annual business review presentations
Look for upsell/cross-sell opportunities and ask for referrals as part of account growth
Requirements
Proven track record of success around implementing SEO principles and content strategy: keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
Analytical insight: ability to analyse website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics
Strong Communication skills: comfortable client facing and owning relationships with key stakeholders
Strong familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog/crawling tools
Must have agency experience
Must have B2B tech and/or SaaS experience
Proven organisational, project, and time management skills
Ability to craft creative briefs and compelling content campaigns with a focus on ideation based on competitor and audience insights
Experience using Asana for project management
Ability to set goals using data sources including Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, and Ahrefs
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication, reliable internet access, and a professional background
