About the role
- Establishing and leading a centralized program management function across the organization.
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of all R&D and corporate programs.
- Ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Designing and implementing a centralized Program Management Office to support all development programs.
- Providing strategic oversight and hands-on leadership for key programs across various functions.
- Integrating existing program management practices into a unified framework.
- Developing and maintaining portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Partnering with various departments to ensure program milestones are met.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in biotech/pharma, with at least 7 years in program or portfolio management leadership roles.
- Advanced Degree highly preferred (PhD, MBA, or MS in Business or Scientific discipline).
- Proven track record of building and scaling PMO functions in high-growth environments.
- Deep understanding of drug development lifecycle from discovery through commercialization.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management tools and systems (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project)
