General Counsel

• Provide practical and strategic guidance on eDiscovery legal requirements and issues to the Litigation and Regulatory Enforcement and HR Legal teams and other attorneys in the Bank’s Legal Department who handle litigations, regulatory enforcement matters and other legal proceedings globally that are or will be in discovery, with a particular focus on early case assessment, data collection scoping and strategies, data search and review strategies and technology tools, ESI and discovery protocols, and data production
• Partner closely with the Bank’s TDI function on legal requirements and best practices for the identification, preservation and collection of data in ongoing and anticipated legal matters
• Partner closely with the Bank’s outside counsel and external eDiscovery technology and review service providers on best practices for the collection, search, review, and production of data in ongoing and anticipated legal matters, including AI and other technology solutions
• Manage the Bank’s external eDiscovery technology and review service providers, review and negotiate vendor pricing and contracts, create and maintain best practices and playbooks, and review and select technology tools and solutions
• Provide practical and strategic advice on eDiscovery legal requirements for new data types and systems
• Will gain extensive experience working on a broad range of eDiscovery and data related legal issues in matters globally, as well as broadening their overall legal expertise and getting exposure to the operation of a global investment bank
• Provide advice to senior Legal Department management on legal eDiscovery requirements, best practices and technology tools and solutions
• Collaborate with colleagues globally in the Bank’s Legal Department, TDI function and other infrastructure functions

Senior Counsel, Legal eDiscovery – Vice President

Operations

• Serve as the technical interface to our internal DB application areas and provide information about platform changes within the framework of the IT Forum at Deutsche Bank.
• Manage the mainframe software release management tool KVS/RMS in collaboration with the vendor Kyndryl.
• Act as the interface to the responsible mainframe service areas of our service provider, Kyndryl and Deutsche Bank internally.
• Ensure that the operational readiness controls for the KVS/RMS software components are kept up to date as part of SDLC governance.
• Responsible for audit management for internal and external audit requirements (such as preparing information, reports, and responses to auditors' questions).

Technology Operations Lead – Mainframe

• Act as an IT Asset Owner (ITAO) for selected mainframe infrastructure assets.
• Support asset lifecycle management, audit readiness, regulatory compliance and operational governance across critical technology assets.
