Senior Director, Software Engineer

Manager

• Direct and prioritize the team’s workload, projects, and initiatives related to EDI processes and payer connectivity.
• Plan and manage ongoing and upcoming EDI changes, payer changes, and production requests.
• Own operational support for production practices, incidents, and help desk escalations, ensuring service levels are met.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and development of assigned team members.
• Monitor team performance on support tickets, documentation, and follow-up, holding the team accountable to quality and turnaround standards.
• Direct coordination between partners and the core development team to resolve issues and questions that arise in day-to-day operations.

Customer Support

• Provide a personalized relationship with every client and offer exceptional client support.
• Resolve incoming calls, emails, and assigned cases from executive clients efficiently and effectively, while satisfying the client’s needs/wants.
• Document all client interactions within Salesforce casing system.
• Effectively troubleshoot and manage support issues.
• Offer personalized assistance to executive clients via multiple channels including phone and email.
• Complete behind the scenes research on inbound inquiries, and complete necessary follow-up to the client.

General

• Provide operational support to production practices and issues and suggest areas for improvement.
• Monitor, review, troubleshoot, and correct EDI issues and make necessary changes to prevent the same issues from reoccurring.
• Perform tests on production applications and prepare recovery procedures for applications.
• Coordinate with IT groups and external vendors to ensure effective services for reliability.
• Analyze business processes and ensure compliance with controlled processes according to established protocols.
• Monitor alerts and escalate issues for procedures and systems.
• Assist as needed with training guides and supporting other team members.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and other department members.
• Collaborate as needed with other internal departments including, but not limited to, Engineering, Sales, Client Support, Payer Relations, Trading Partners, and Channel Partners.

EDI Specialist

Account Executive

• Respond to inbound leads within a defined SLA window; prioritize speed without sacrificing personalization.
• Conduct structured discovery calls to understand each practice’s workflows, pain points, and goals before presenting a solution.
• Tailor product demonstrations to the specific operational context of each prospect, not a generic deck run.
• Manage all active opportunities in Salesforce with accurate stage, close date, and next step documentation.
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact through contract execution, working with internal stakeholders as needed to remove blockers.
• Build relationships with dental consultants, DSO administrators, and practice advocates who can surface and influence buying decisions.
• Engage current customers handed to sales because they raised their hand, are growing or were flagged by Support as a sales opportunity.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on practice size, claim volume, and gaps in their current DXC product footprint.
• Execute expansion conversations with the same preparation and follow-through applied to new business, not as an afterthought.
• Coordinate with Client Success on accounts that need support before an expansion motion makes sense.
• Track and report on expansion revenue alongside new logo metrics as part of regular forecasting.
• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline always; CRM hygiene is not optional.
• Participate in weekly pipeline reviews with clear visibility into deal stage, risk, and expected close.
• Submit weekly and monthly forecasts with confidence levels and supporting rationale.
• Flag deal risks early rather than holding them until close week.
