Own the design and execution of regional strategic initiatives to build on Deliveroo's strong market position in Core London
Work closely with the Regional Director and be a key member of the regional leadership team
Identify areas to improve customer value proposition on a hyperlocal level, build plans, and execute to achieve improvements
Create the playbook for thriving and growing in a mature, competitive Deliveroo market
Devise and manage one-year and three-year strategies for the region
Bring together sub teams (Client Partners, Incubator, Territory management and Sales) and cross-functional teams (Ops, Marketing, Chinese Category) through joint initiatives
Lead across multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
Manage stakeholders to build consensus and momentum around regional initiatives
Identify and develop scalable frameworks and methodologies around initiatives
Track and monitor strategic goals and KPIs and build scalable tooling (Looker dashboards, Google Sheets)
Requirements
Experience working closely with senior leadership, working in a leadership role in a fast-paced business environment or in a management consultancy.
Strong business acumen with ability to simplify complex problems
Self-starter, hard worker and well organised
Effective relationship-building and communication skills at all levels
Ambitious, entrepreneurial, pragmatic and commercial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity
Able to lead on cross-functional projects without authority
Helpful: relevant domain expertise, for example growth startups, online marketplaces or hyperlocal businesses.
